Thank you to everyone who joined us for the Chili Feed and participated in the make n' take on January 16th we had a great time! We are in process of planning the January Chili Feed, date, time, and location will be announced as soon as they are finalized! We will be having the "Best Halloween Pictures" Contest again this year and are putting together a great prize package for the winner! Of course we will be having homemade chili and cinnamon rolls, and may be including a make n' take (details coming soon)! * 2009 Haunted Bus Trip - Reserve your spot! October 22nd (this is a THURSDAY) Risen once again from the dead, the Haunted Bus Trip has returned for 2009 ! For those of you that haven't had the chance to go on one of these, the bus trip is a lot of fun and a great way to meet new friends. We will charter a bus to travel up to Omaha and visit 3 Haunted Attractions (At a discounted group rate). This event is open to anyone who would like to participate in this fun seasonal event. You MUST be 21 years old or over to attend this event as everyone is allowed to bring their own beverage. Spread the word to your friends, co-workers and family who would enjoy a road trip to have some haunted fun and get the Halloween Spirit awakened. You get the bus ride up to omaha and back plus your admission cost to 3 Haunted Attractions all for $45.00! We will be giving away prizes on the bus! Everyone will meet at the departure location, (location being finalized - will be announced soon!), the bus will leave the parking lot at 6:00pm so plan accordingly to be on the bus before hand as the bus will not wait. We will be returning approximately at midnight. It has come to my attention that our "community" bulletin board would not let our members post anything so, we have a brand new one that will! With the new forum just register a user name & password, that's it. No other information is needed (make sure to write you username & password down for next time!). A new feature we now have with the new forum is that you can click on "chat" and go into a chat room, on the side menu choose "list online users" if any of the other members are at the forum you can chat there with them. The final details on the April 26th meeting & make 'n take is now on the bulletin board! Click on the Meeting Information bar, then on the April 26th meeting topic to read. Feel free to go into the "Welcome to the Fear Crafters Forum" and post any new topics, questions, information, products, etc, or reply to any you have answers/information for. This is a good tool to communicate and help each other whether needing help building a prop, finding products, or letting us know about an upcoming event, etc. * Mark your calendars! The next Fear Crafters meeting will be April 26th, 2pm - 5pm. This meeting will include a "make n take". A make n take is where we show you how to make a prop in which you are making your own as you follow along, then you will be able to take it home with you. We will also be discussing ideas for upcoming meetings and future events. More details including location & address, what the make n take prop will be and how much it will cost, will be posted on the Fear Crafters Bulletin Board! * Check this out! Every year "Halloween Prop Master" welcomes Halloween Enthuiasts to submit their videos and pictures of their Halloween haunt(home, yard and commercial), party, convention , how to's for props and more. He takes these videos and pictures and creates a compiled dvd set that consists of usually at least 6 or more dvd's and offers these to everyone to purchase for usually around $20.00. I have been purchasing these for at least the last 4 years. I must say that it is so awesome to be able to see what other haunters, people having Halloween parties, and conventions are doing and what they look like! It is definately worth every penny and for the price you can't pass it up! This years dvd set is an 10th anniversary edition. This special edition will include not only all the haunts that submit pictures or video (typically over 100 haunts) but there will be additional bonus disc(s), with the best haunts from the past 10 years and how-2's, etc. *The 2008 dvd set is now available!* You can also purchase past years dvd sets.
